From track marshal to Macau champion

Filipe Souza has accomplished a childhood aspiration in his hometown of Macau Guia Race. The racer won the Guia Race with an Audi RS 3 LMS gen II, which has been held since 1972.

As a result, the 46-year-old privateer driver is the first Macau Guia Race native to accomplish this feat. Souza was seven years old when he saw Ayrton Senna win the 1983 Formula 3 Grand Prix in Macau as a spectator before becoming a race marshal.
